Whether you're seeking arts or STEM partners, school assemblies or curriculum and resource guides, Stitch profiles diverse organizations across all disciplines, program types, and focus areas—all dedicated to serving LA County youth.

For the 2024-25 school year, Stitch is also a central location to learn more about all PST ART educational programming, community events, and learning opportunities around exhibitions.

Stitch is powered by InPlay and created by a coalition of organizations: GLAEF, LA STEM Collective, MESC, LA County Department of Arts and Culture, LA County Arts Ed Collective, Annenberg Learner, GPSN, ExpandLA, Wildwoods, MOCA, Columbia Memorial Space Center and B-Relyt, with funding support from the Snap Foundation and Getty Foundation.

Let your school and district know the arts are an essential part of public education!

What you can do:

Find out which students receive arts instruction, and who is providing it in your local school or district, with the Arts Ed Profile.
Check whether your school district has a current plan for expanding arts education to more students through the School District Directory.
Let your district know they can apply for help to create or update their plan with an Arts Ed Collective Strategic Planning Coach.
Let your district know they can apply for grant funding to help advance their arts plan through the Advancement Grant Program.
Email or tweet your elected school board representative about arts education with tools from CREATE CA.
Speak up for arts education at a school board meeting with tips from CREATE CA.
Uplift the voices of youth leaders with resources from Arts for LA.
Ensure arts education is included in your school district’s Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).

The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) has partnered with PBS to create a unique toolkot so that each district and charter school within LA County has access to Pre-K-12 digital resources aligned to California's state frameworks and standards. Resources are available in both English and Spanish and include links for educators and families.
